De Kwakel, May 2024 – Last week, Martien Meiland and Erica Renkema, together with Jaap Stelder from HBA, planted the hydrangea Code Rosé in the garden of their namesake Boutique Pension in Noordwijk. The Meiland family loves hydrangeas and is well-known and beloved in the Netherlands for several successful television programs. Last June, the Meiland family christened this new hydrangea.
Code Rosé is a product made by HBA (Hydrangea Breeders Association) in De Kwakel (Achterweg 58A). During Flower Trials (11-14 June 2024) we will have a special presentation of this new colorful hydrangea. Hydrangea Code Rosé has bright pink flowers with a dark pink edge. The dark green foliage provides a charming contrast.
During Flower Trials our HBA HYDRANGEA NIGHT (invited guests only) will take place on Thursday evening, June 13, in De Kwakel (Achterweg 58A).
