The Tropical varieties are specially designed and selected for areas without a long period of natural cold and with a diferent day-night regime compared to the Northern European production areas.

These varieties do not require a long cold period for good stem length. At Equatorial production areas like Kenya or Colombia the tropical varieties produce flowers yearround.
